Mission Statement

This constitution is established to facilitate interscholastic competition, promote a sound program of educational enrichment value and encourage a cooperative, democratic process of fair and good horsemanship.

Founded by Dan Grunewald of Jefferson,Wisconsin
 
 
Purpose

The Purpose of this organization is to promote continuous growth in programs fostering horsemanship education, sponsor activities to encourage interscholastic participation and to have cooperative adult supervised leadership (coaching) for all students in grades 6 through 12 who are desirous to participate regardless of race, creed or national origin and meets the association rules and regulations.
 
 
MEMBERSHIP
• Students in grades 9 through 12 interested in competing
on an equestrian team shall be eligible for team membership
providing the student has a registered adult coach.
• Students in grades 6 through 8 interested in competing
on an equestrian team shall be eligible for Junior Division
team membership providing the student(s) has a registered
adult coach.
To become a registered adult coach, or to set up a meetting
in your area, please contact Dan Grunewald or Suzanne
Lois.

WISCONSIN DISTRICTS
WIHA is divided between 18 districts in the state of Wisconsin.

TEAM DIVISIONS
WIHA Teams are broken down into the following divisions:
A: 11 to 15 riders
B: 6 to 10 riders
C: 2 to 5 riders
D: 1 to 2 riders
*If you have more than two riders you must enter into the
corresponding division. Teams of more than 15 riders
must split into at least two teams
